Composite Sun Saturn Aspect

In FT/MM's Composite Chart, Sun is quincunx Saturn, but the interpretation of the quincunx was not available. The aspects which come closest to the quincunx are square and oppositions

Composite Sun Opposite Saturn- This is a troublesome aspect that takes skillful and patient handling to get around. There is a periodic energy drain in your relationship that means you can run out of steam at a moment's notice. One second you're bounding along, the next, the spring in your step has vanished. Periods of depression alternate with fairly rosy times and it will be important to put the emphasis in your lives on the latter and try to brush off the former. The greatest problem will be to avoid blaming bad times on each other   and dragging each other down further than the situation warrants. Deal with problems together, even if they primarily arise from only one of you, and stick to things you can resolve. It can be too easy to impinge upon or weigh down each other, with all the resentment that engenders, so be willing to step back and let each other have some space to do their individual thing outside the relationship as well as within it, and when you feel the urge to criticize, button your lip until you're sure it will be constructive and not just a gratuitous swipe. If you keep a positive view, you can act like governors on each other and hold each other in balanced orbit. If you look toward the downside, down you will go.

Composite Sun Square Saturn- Sometimes it may feel as if your relationship has sprung a leak- an energy leak. It may feel that just as you are  about to make a move, something undermines it and you pull your punch just enough to make it ineffectual. It may happen due to too much self-criticism or too much criticism of each other. This cuts away at self-confidence and builds unwarranted expectation of failure. It's the sort of thing that can become a vicious circle: fear of defeat leading to defeat, which then justifies further anxieties in the future. Although one does not improve without seeking out  and removing faults, focusing on faults alone is like taking one leg out from under a horse-even though its still got three perfectly good ones left, its bound to fall. Although you should not ignore weakness, you will need to focus more on your strengths and accept that there will always be something to complain about if you insist, but why bother? Accentuate the positive and you're more likely to get positive results. The difficulty will be in not giving in to a backward glance at what you're afraid  might be a fatal flaw. Like most squares, this is one where you learn from your mistakes over a period of time and eventually hone it down to a science. What began as crippled movement evolves into economy of motion.
