Composite Mercury Saturn Aspect

In FT/MM's Composite Chart, Mercury is quincunx Saturn, but the interpretation of the quincunx was not available. The aspects which come closest to the quincunx are square and oppositions

Mercury Opposition Saturn- Communication may be difficult with you, and you should do all that you can to stimulate it. The inclination is not just to clam up and not talk, but to go half-way and then give up, which can be very annoying at times. Half the message can be worse than no message at all, and if you give up in an important discussion before you resolve the issues, what was the point in beginning at all? If there is a lesson here, it is intellectual follow-through, saying all that needs to be said and not being satisfied until you have. The very flip side of this aspect oddly enough is that by doing just that, your verbal tenacity will allow you to nail things down clearly, as long as you don't let the interruptions derail you. The method of communication when it occurs will be somewhat adversarial and you will need to give each other's opinions the benefit of doubt or you will never get to first base. The main thing is, don't give up. When you tire out or figure it's not worth wasting your words, stop, regroup, and pick up where you left off. This is an annoying and debilitating aspect, but it is no reason to throw in the towel. Insist on seeing the bright side, something you are not likely to do at first, and then build on that, one brick at a time.

Mercury Square Saturn- Unacknowledged communication problems can arise between you. This is because you do not fully put across your message before signing off, perhaps for a variety of reasons. First, you may not have full confidence in what you are saying and censor yourself  due to your fear that someone else will. Second, you may assume knowledge on the part of each other or those around you that is not in their possession and therefore, makes it impossible for them to get your meaning. Third, if you have a negative image of those with whom you are communicating, it will show and turn them off to what you are saying. Alternatively, you may just get locked into a single way of expressing yourselves that no longer does the job. In all cases, the fundamental remedy is to say more and put things in a positive light. When you communicate make certain you are being fully understood. Do not take it for granted that you have been heard unless you get specific feedback. Look for the silver lining in whatever you do and focus on ways to describe it. Assume the dark side has already been sufficiently noted. Eventually, as you make these readjustments, you will find yourselves master of precise expression, the midpoint which you seek, but it will take time.
